The Prompt Hub: Building a Reusable AI Prompt System

Challenge:

After ChatGPT launched, writers across Wix began experimenting with AI prompts individually — saving favorites locally, duplicating effort, and producing inconsistent outputs. There was no shared system for managing, organizing, or reusing prompts across the team or the company.

Contribution:

Built a centralized catalog of reusable AI prompts organized by use case, each featuring dynamic fields that writers can customize for their specific task. The catalog covers drafting, editing, formatting, SEO optimization, and more. Led a company-wide workshop teaching teams across Wix how to identify repetitive tasks, create effective prompts, and build their own prompt hubs tailored to their team's needs. Also delivered a dedicated version of the workshop specifically for the KB team, going deeper into our specific writing workflows and editorial standards.

Outcome:

A structured prompt system that replaced ad-hoc experimentation with a standardized, searchable library. Writers find and adapt proven prompts instead of starting from scratch. The company-wide workshop extended the impact beyond the KB team, helping other departments adopt the same approach for their own content needs.
